Efektivitas Pendekatan Creative Problem Solving (CPS) dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menemukan Ide Inovatif Topik Penelitian Mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan pendekatan Creative Problem Solving (CPS) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa pendidikan biologi dalam menemukan ide inovatif untuk topik penelitian skripsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pra-eksperimen dengan model one-shot case study. Subjek penelitian adalah 73 mahasiswa semester 5 Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Halu Oleo. Data dikumpulkan melalui penilaian portofolio kreatif dan angket tanggapan mahasiswa. Penilaian portofolio kreatif digunakan untuk mengukur kebaruan, kreativitas, dan relevansi ide penelitian mahasiswa, sementara angket digunakan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penerapan CPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan CPS efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menghasilkan ide penelitian yang inovatif, orisinal, dan relevan. Mahasiswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan CPS mampu mengidentifikasi dan merumuskan masalah penelitian secara lebih sistematis, mengeksplorasi sumber literatur dengan efektif, serta menyusun proposal penelitian yang berkualitas. Selain itu, hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memberikan respons positif terhadap metode CPS, karena dinilai mampu memotivasi, merangsang pemikiran kreatif, dan memberikan solusi praktis dalam menghadapi tantangan penelitian skripsi. Dengan demikian, pendekatan CPS dapat diimplementasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mendukung pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kritis mahasiswa, serta memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas penelitian di bidang pendidikan biologi.
