Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

The articles published in the Management Scientific Journal "EMOR" (Management Orientation Research Economics) are prioritized studies or writings that have relevance to the fields of HR Management, Financial Management, Operational Management, Marketing Management, Business Management, Business Law and Islamic Economics and Sharia Economics. The "Emor" Management Scientific Journal is published twice a year, in June and December.

Some of the provisions that can be used as guidelines for writing in the EMOR Management Scientific Journal are as follows:

1. Manuscripts contained in this journal are Manuscripts that have never been published in print, journals or other scientific publications.

2. The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English, paying attention to the rules according to Enhanced Spelling (EYD).

3. Writing Format:

  • a. The title is a maximum of 12 words in Indonesian and 10 words in English.
  • b. The full name of the author (name not abbreviated), the origin of the college / institution along with the full address, author's email and phone / mobile number.
  • c. The number of pages of manuscripts ranges from 15 to 25 pages.
  • d. The font used Times New Roman, size 12, with line spacing of 1.5.
  • e. Paper margins or margins for Left, Right, Top and Bottom are 2 (two) centimeters with A4, 210 x 997 mm paper sizes.
  • f. The page number is placed at the lower right corner.

4. Systematics of Article Writing:

  • ABSTRACT; this section contains a summary of research, among others, concerning: research problems and objectives, research methods, results and conclusions. Abstracts are presented at the beginning of the text and no more than 150 - 300 words. The abstract is followed by three to six keywords. Abstract written in Indonesian and English.
  • PRELIMINARY ; consists of problem background, literature review, problem formulation and research objectives.
  • HYPOTHESIS (if any).
  • RESEARCH METHODS ; consists of the location and time of the study, population and sample, types and sources of data, operational definitions, data analysis.
  • RESULTS AND DISCUSSION ; contains the results and discussion of findings, describes the analysis of research data and describes the results through discussion.
  • CLOSING; consists of conclusions and suggestions.
  • BIBLIOGRAPHY ; includes sources cited in the writing of the article. Only sources that are used as references can be loaded. (Required list of references / references contains 80% of national or international articles, and 20% contains references from books and other media).

5. Provisions of tables and figures: the title of the table is written above the table and figure, given the serial number and title in accordance with the contents of the article in the study.

6. Provisions for writing citations, Quotation provisions: Quotations in the text are written between the opening parenthesis and closing parenthesis (), which indicate the author's last name, the year without commas, and page number (if deemed necessary), for example:

  • One source of the citation with one author (Rahman, 2017), if accompanied by page numbers (Rahman, 2010: 116).
  • One citation source with two authors (Lind and Tyler, 2001).
  • One citation source with more than two authors (Rahman et al. 2010)
  • Two citation sources with different authors (Rahman, 2010; Tjahjono, 2001)
  • The source of the quotation comes from the work of an agency that is mentioned the acronym of the institution concerned (AMA, 2005)
