Abstract

White Oyster Mushrooms (Pleurotus Ostreatus) are a food that is now popular among the public because the processed products are increasingly varied and of course have high nutritional content, non-cholesterol. This research aims to determine the Oyster Mushroom business development strategy through SWOT analysis in Beringin Jaya Village, Simpang Raya District. . The theories used in this research consist of oyster mushrooms, how to make oyster mushrooms, factors that influence the oyster mushroom business, business strategy, SWOT analysis. The population in this research is Mr. Mujiono's oyster mushroom businessman. The sample was taken using the census method, where the population was used as a sample. Data collection techniques were obtained from interviews and documentation. Then the data analysis used is descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, it is known that the total score from the IFAS matrix results is 1.94. Meanwhile, the total score obtained from the EFAS matrix is ??2.24. Based on the IFAS and EFAS matrix results, the Oyster mushroom business is in quadrant I, which means it supports aggressive or growth strategies, the Oyster mushroom business has strong enough strengths and opportunities so it is suitable to use the SO (Strength-Opportunity) strategy.
